Experiment: Elephant Toothpaste

This is one of my favorite experiments!
It meets all of the criteria to capture middle schoolers' insterest:

  •  Fast, attention-grabbing action 
  • Colorful
  • A kid-friendly version (less chemicals)
  • A variety of lesson options:
    • What is a Catalyst?
    • What is an oxidizing agent?
    • What is an exothermic reaction?
      (I'm sure you can think of a few more!!)
  • Not to mention, a catchy name.

    I love this exciting way of teaching. Kids would be so much more interest in school if it was exciting for them.
